New Co-op Student

Please welcome Blair to our classroom.  He is competing his Grade 12 year at St. Peter's High School in the SHSM program.  He will be with us until June and is a welcome addition!

Children are trying to expand their vocabulary by using a variety of adjectives.  Ask your child about the story "The Boy Who Loved Words". What words from the story really grabbed their attention?

Students continue to look critically at media, especially advertising, and ways in which companies try to sell their product.  Look for the clear and hidden message in a t.v. commercial tonight.

Grade 4/5 Trip

Just a heads up, the Grades 4 and 5's will be going to Jacques Cartier Park on Thursday, February 12th.  Letters will be sent home tomorrow.
