Dramatizing Parables

Students began to present their interpretation of various parables.  Their success criteria was voice projection and how their actions conveyed the message of the parable.  Fellow classmates were then encouraged to provide their peers with 3 stars (positive feedback) and a wish (something to consider for next time).  

Family Life

Students began a discussion about the miracle of life.  It stimulated a lot of questions.  Terms mentioned include umbilical cord, placenta, amniotic sac, sperm cells and ovum.

Please continue to review multiplication and division facts daily with your child. This will ensure greater success at solving real world math problems.  We will move onto fractions and decimals next.
