Pay It Forward

Super discussions today on how to keep ourselves safe in the "digital world" our students are growing up in. When asked who was a part of an online community, every child stood up. We compared communities online and offline and discussed whether our behaviour should change in either.

They were challenged to think of a positive change they could do to make the world a better place.  Great discussion to have on this long weekend!

The Good Samaritan

We continue to relate the Parable of the Good Samaritan to being a responsible digital citizen.  Encourage dialogue about online safety.

Kindness Video

We are learning about being a Responsible Digital Citizen.  We started by watching a video.  Google "Life Vest Inside - Kindness Boomerang - One Day" and discuss with your child.  

Review Math Patterns

Please review the purple math sheets in your child's homework duotang. Students will have an independent task due shortly.  Also, visit the Nelson Mathematics Parent Site for some additional practice.
